I had the same concern so they installed a bar from one side of the frame to the other. The car is actually much more structually sound now then it was before. I don't have a good pic of it yet but you can see it here... I believe the price was around $1500. There is a wait tho. Worth the wait tho I think.Looks like fantastic work !
Dumb question though... Is there any concern about weakening the back half of the car with it notched that hard and no cage or rollbar ?
I though I remembered seeing pics of a GN with wrinkled 1/4's as a result of a hard frame notch and no rear support ?
That's pretty much exactly what I'd like to do to mine eventually... but I'd probably throw a cage or bar in the car too at the same time.
If ya don't mind me asking... Approx how much $$$ did a job like that cost you ? (PM me if you prefer)

Looks great! I am sold on the plan to mini tub the Cutlass now. My bro is going to mini tub his GN this winter, maybe next winter he'll do mine. You know, let him practice on his car first.
