When you guys replaced the factory speakers in the GN or T Types with aftermarket ones for the back deck, doors and dash did you need an install kit for wiring? I was thinking I would just cut off the factory connector from the wire, split the halves and put spade connectors on each wire to connect them to the each speakers spade flange (one negative and one positive). Also is there a particular brand speaker that is a direct fit for the dash?
Crutchfield sells the speakers I like for a lot more than they can be had for elsewhere but they allegedly provide wiring install kits. As I am not sure what they give you the expense may or may not be worth it.
