Ricer - Take off your turbo and it won't be fast.
Me - Take off my turbo and my car won't run..
Ricer - ...Your car is only fast because of the turbo.
Me - Thank you captain obvious.

So, the guy wants me to make my car slower so it's a fair race. I guess I should take that as a compliment?

Do you have a stock turbo??

I would find it somewhat reasonable (although still a cry-baby excuse) to say you have an upgraded turbo. But to ask you to take your car to SUB factory levels is outright ricer whining!

I don't even understand that guys reasoning. The turbo is part of the set-up.
I suppose you should take it as a compliment...
Then again there is the old adage: Never argue with a moron, others may not be able to tell the difference between the two of you.

they think a turbo is unfair, although it is a factory set-up

a variable valve timed, dual overhead cam, 11:1 compression ratio engine with 4:10 gears is unfair

tell him he can turbo his legend, if you can get a stage block...sounds fair to me

We're certainly not the fastest things out there but you don't hear us crying about the SBC and Mustake guys adding single and dual turbos to their V8's.....if ya can't run with the big dogs then stay on the porch w/ their high dollar 4 bangers and stop whinning
