Tires?

I'm finally finishing up the build on my T. Now I'm at the point of what tires to run. I'm keeping my stock wheels and need something that keeps good traction in 70 to 105 degrees. Any ideas?

I bought a pair of "less expensive" fronts at Sears last weekend. They are 215/70-15 roadhandlers or some such. I replaced the last pair of "less expensive" ones I got at discount tire about four years ago. I have a bushing "issue" that causes the inside edges to wear. I'll use them on the trailer. For the back, I've been looking at a pair of cooper brand in a 255/60-15. These would be for regular driving. I like the look of larger/wider tires on the rear.

I have a pair of Mickey Thompson 28x9 slicks, and a pair of dot rates Mickey Thompson, but I don't recall the size off the top of my head. I'd have to look. If I were to start from scratch I'd look at the 255/60-15 sticky tires or maybe some 275/50-15 if I had some 8 Inch wheels. Lots of 16" choices and bigger too. You need to decide on you tire height and go from there.

Well I have a pair of mt et but they have a sweet spot and then if they got to hot there a pain.

255/60-15 mickey Thompson drag radials for stock rims.
They hook/fit and look great and are not terrible if your caught in the rain.

MT has a new tread pattern that looks like it might be an improvement in the rain compared to the old pattern http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip.php?item=ETStreetSS
Yes they do. Just had them installed on my stock rims today. 255/60-15.
