turn signal broke

ok so i was in rush hour traffic holding my directional down whilc turning across 4 lanes slowly and now when i push it down and turn the wheel it doesnt pop back up... did i break somthin or pop somthin off? i hope i dindt break anything tho.

when you pull back on the lever does it click making the high and low change???

there are a few plastic peices in the column that can break and then the blinker lever wont actuate correctly-

do you have a steering wheel puller and do you want to tackle taking apart the column?
