To update the car, we have raced most of the season in Ultra 275 at Cecil County Dragway. Had to miss two races, but did well winning 4 races this season including the Door Wars at MIR in April. Car was running well, but struggled with wheel stands. Had all four shocks revalved after MIR and...

I took the pics down quite a while ago. I recently did a video scrapbook of the rebuild which can be seen here.

The work being done to the engine surely isn't cheap, but I really feel Tony is able to find power that others may not be able to...specifically naturally aspirated stuff like I run.

Well, the 582 bbc has been at Tony Bischoff's BES Racing engines this winter. Custom pistons finally came in last week, so final mockup & assembly can begin. Hope to be able to go out for dyno within the next two week. Hoping to see some substantial power gains (fingers crossed).

Well we ended our 2012 season at the Nov 3rd race. #1 qualifier, got the win and new bests on every run...but it took -350' D/A air to do so. 5.09 @ 135, 1.12 60' Engine came out the very next day to freshen and make some performance upgrades for 2013.

New best from last weekends race. 5.134 @ 134.39.

I just had to post this as I thought it was kinda funny. After that last run I stopped the car and looked for my water bottle to get a drink. Couldn't find the bottle, but once I got out to take my jacket off, I turned around and there it was.

Hey guys, Been racing all season and I may have forgotten to stop by and update how the Malibu has been running this season since the rebuild was completed. The car has been running consistently in the 5.3x range at 129-130 mph in the summer heat. Tried to make some tweaks, but it was stuck at...

The June 2nd SCS was our first official race with the newly completed rebuild of the HFR Malibu. First qualifier it kicked the tires in the heat. Still working on a hot track setup. Second qualifier we found a tune to get down the track. Slower, but went point A to B. Car ran a 5.328 @ 130.91...
