Help 1980 Turbo in My Monte is not working
I had the turbo rebult to performace spects. It was not original equipment. It was bad due to lack of lubrication so I am replacing the oil line. anyone from Minnesota?
I met a local on another forum, he came over and we got the carb and turbo torn off. Sent both out for rebuilt. I think I get it now. I did notknow the turbo twisted... I could have gotten to the other bolts. This car really came from an 83 year old woman. ALways dealer serviced so the tune up...- 1980turbo

anyone from Minnesota?
Have a 1980MOnte Carlo factory equipted with a V6 Buick Turbo, low mileage car that needs to have the turbo taken off along with the waste gate etc. and shipped out for rebuild. Waste gate was stuck and the actuator did not react to a vacuum pump... Looking for someone to help finish taking this...- 1980turbo

Help 1980 Turbo in My Monte is not working
ARG!!! THanks fellas for the info. I bet I have called 15 recomended Turbo places. No one has anything for this. ARG ARG ARG!!! The car runs a bit hot asIt is not able to get good air flow. It stumbles etc. The tune up stuff is a given, rad and everything else checks out. Thoughts?- 1980turbo
