I got a used set of T&D rockers for stock heads. I see where the pedestals need to be clearanced. Is it something I can do with a grinder or is it best done by a machine shop. TIA

I have a powerlogger on my TTA, and just bought another one for my GN. Can I just plug my lap top into the new PL and have it work, or do I have to set up another PL on the lap top. If I have the set up a second PL on the lap top, what is involved? TIA

Are there any problems or issues installing a PL on an ECM modded for low impedance injectors? Thanks.

I bought a rebuilt TTA engine a few years ago. Its got a roller cam, ported heads, etc. The pistons are stamped L2471, which is a Buick 350 piston. Any idea why the builder would choose this piston?

If it's a 4T60 or 4T60-E, then the modulator is on the left side of the transmission. It points straight out toward the radiator. Follow the vacuum line, and you should find it.

What's the difference between the CQ and CZ valve bodies? Is there any advantage of using one over the other? I've been looking for a CZF trans to build up, but haven't found one. I have found a few CQ's locally. Would a CQ trans be as good a starting point for a build up?

I went to the dealer to order a new fuel gauge sending unit for my TTA. There are two different part #'s (25027221, 25090906) listed for our cars. Does anyone know what the difference is between the two, or how to determine which one I need?

Jan I don't know if they have a part number yet, but they have the patterns now so just give them a call. IIRC, a set of steel lines are $60 and the SS are $80. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures.

TTA motor mounts James: You are correct. The mounts are different. I was the victim of mis-information. When I was replacing my oil pan gasket I decided to change the mounts. I went into the parts department and asked if the mounts were still available. The guy said yes, new part # and...

TTA motor mounts I checked the parts catalog today and the mounts are the same for both sides. Part # 22188970. Still available, but expensive at 103.66 list. The mounting plates are discontinued.
