    2004r

Looking for a 2004R, prefer a BRF that I don't have to rebuild. Going behind a stock motor so aftermarket parts aren't a must. Located in Detroit area. Drop me an email: anausied@hotmail.com Thanks, Tony

    Hard to start when warm

Hey everyone, I have a FAST B2B on a Pontiac 455. Got a hard starting problem that I hadn't noticed until this week. I parked the car at a friend's house for about two hours and had a hell of a time starting it after it had sat. I don't really have a problem starting it when it's totally...

    Street driving with FAST ?'s

I have the FAST system on a Pontiac 455. Been driving it regularly for almost 2 years, and have had no real problems that couldn't be corrected by tuning.

I -think- a FAST bug may have grenaded my motor

DOS software I am interested in getting a copy of the DOS software. The d/l on the website is only a demo version, right? Where can I get a fully functional copy? Thanks, Tony

    MSD Rotor Phasing

Thanks Craig, Do you know if I can just replace the rotor with a phaseable unit, or if I have to switch to the Cap-a-Dapt kit (cap and rotor)? That would force me to buy new HEI-terminal plug wires, which I'd rather not do. Thanks for the help. BTW, Todd was very helpful with my WOT tuning...

    MSD Rotor Phasing

A post on another board jogged my memory on this topic- I have a locked out MSD Pro-Billet controlling a B-to-B FAST system on a Pontiac 455. Crank reference angle is 50deg BTDC. I assume that implies the reluctor tab is directly centered at 50 degrees. However, I never did measure the rotor...

    Easy (I hope) 200R4 Questions

I converted a car from a T400 to a 200R4 and need a flexplate cover. Anyone have a source or a GM part number? Also, one of the tailshaft trans mount holes stripped while I was torquing it down (no more than 35 lb-ft). Can I just heli-coil this? Thanks in advance!

Did some work, now it won't start?

Fuel pressure shot up to 60psi after I dumped a couple of gallons of gas into the tank. I'll try to fire it up tomorrow...but I think that did it! It's amazing that I waited days to check the most obvious thing...oh well.

Did some work, now it won't start?

Hey Bob, That is kind of what I expected to hear. I have tried to set the new Aeromotive regulator to get the lines primed to 43 psi but it doesn't seem to go above 30. I'll go back out to the garage, readjust the regulator, and see if I can hit my pressure target. Thanks again, Tony

Did some work, now it won't start?

Hmm... Went out to the garage this afternoon and put a timing light on the #1 cylinder. It's firing. Fuel pressure gauge on the regulator will go to around 30 psi with the pump priming...which begs the question...shouldn't it ideally pressure up to 43 psi if that's where the regulator is set...

Did some work, now it won't start?

Hi Bob, Thanks for the reply. I haven't checked yet for spark...I'll put a light on it tonight and let you know what happens. Regards Tony

Did some work, now it won't start?

This is probably a dumb question to add, but then again, maybe not! I just realized that it's been a while since I filled the car up with gas. I did crack the fuel line on the rail and it's definitely pressurized, and some fuel did spray out. Fuel pressure gauge on the regulator is reading...

Did some work, now it won't start?

Hey everyone, I have a Pontiac 455 with a FAST B-B, WB02 system. Got the car to run pretty well last year, so I have been driving it for a while. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to adjust the throttle blades at idle because it seemed the IAC was working too hard. While doing this, the car...

    Closed Loop...where is it?

D'oh Okay, I got it, please disregard. These posts look like the work of a schizophrenic :)

    Closed Loop...where is it?

hmm OK, I'm looking at a screenshot I took this afternoon which has the VEGOS voltage at 0.49V. Would this keep the ecu out of closed loop? If so, do I need a new sensor? (hope not)
