waiting for shifts
Yeah i replaced the valve springs. It was the TV cable i decided to adjust it again. I've adjusted it about 3 times since i got the tranny back and every time it just barely came out but it came out alot farther than before shifts much better. Now why did it come out so far this time but not...- 88SS

waiting for shifts
I had my 2004r rebuilt about 2 months ago and very shortly after i noticed the first time after the car sat for awhile and cooled down the 1-2 shift would hold and then finally slam into second, its been doing this ever since also i would have to let off the gas to get it to go into OD and now...- 88SS

TV Cable questions/part # request
I'm assuming the GN's and MCSS have the same cable not to familiar with the GN other than there tranny, but yeah that's all i paid. The clip that hooks to the carb was broke and the tranny guy missed it when he did the rebuild and when i went to pick up the tranny he noticed and told me to...- 88SS

TV Cable questions/part # request
$75-100 for a TV cable is rediculous i believe i only paid $35 and some change for mine about 3 weeks ago from my local chevy dealer. I would not recomend an aftermarket universal one either not a good setup at all, you have to make it the proper length which seems alittle messed up to me since...- 88SS

1-2nd shift
I recently had my 200 4-R rebuilt and have a tranny cooler and D5 conveter from bruce. When i first start the car after a long period of time and go it take a long time for it to shift from 1st to 2nd but after the first time its fine after that. Torque conveter
Hey guys i've got an 88 MC SS with a 305. As we speak my tranny(200-4R) is in the shop getting rebuilt with a trans go shift kit.
