My concern was negative overlap in other words less than none. It would seem that once there is no overlap there is zero chance of reversion so what's the point in going so far the other direction?
Building a turbocharged Buick 300 V8. Using TA's V8 version of the gn heads. JE turbo specific pistons etc. The cam card is a hydraulic roller. I've never seen a cam with -13° of overlap before. Just curious if this will work well.

I've read several times where Bison performance has recommended you go with the RollMaster gold set which contains the higher quality chain then the Rollmaster red set.
I bought this engine when the parts I needed for my turbocharged Buick 300 V8 were on indefinite backorder. Shortly after I bought this engine my backorder parts started arriving and this engine has become a distraction. I pulled it down to the short block for inspection just to verify...
Sorry for the late reply. I decided to stop this engine build. I'm just not a V6 guy.
FYI I bought the reproduction dipstick tube from Gbody parts and its awful. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.
I've decided to step away from this engine project. I only bought this engine because parts for my other engine were on indefinite backorder. Those parts are all in my hands now and the V6 is more of a distraction than anything.
