Another 200 4 r question
Got another governor out of a spare. Works great now. I have been building the normal G.M. trans for years. The governor is very unigue with the check balls instead of a valve. [/B]BE VERY CAREFUL GRIND ON THE GOVERNOR WEIGHTS[/B]. It will cause it to wait really long for 4th.- Batchelorracing

Another 200 4 r question
Is it normal for the 200 4r trans to not take forth till 55 mph? Its been along time since I have messed with one of these. I freshened the trans and installed a transgo HD2 kit. Car shifts really good but takes 4th at 55 everytime. It did this before the build also. The car is for cruise in and...- Batchelorracing

ProTouring a 1986 SS Monte Carlo information
I have just bought this car. I am really surprised at the handling of the car for the years it has. What I am looking to do is probably a ebauck spring set and a nice set of 17x8 wheels. I am not after the road grader look, just clean. Did GN come with a rear brace at rear horns or a tow hitch...- Batchelorracing

ProTouring a 1986 SS Monte Carlo information
I have been a really strong support of gbody's for the last twenty to thirty years. Have always drag raced and now ready to try something new. I really don't want to cut it up just the best lowered stance and best wheel and tire packages. Any help and ideas would be great.- Batchelorracing
