    Wheel Center Cap Emblems

New stock appearing aluminum wheels (Goodmark). Center caps, but no emblems. Seen several advertised. I think I want the solid ones (like a button) and not just the stickers/decals. Yes? Suggestions where to look? (and please don’t tell me the wheels I ordered are junk. I get depressed easily)...

Yet another vac. brake conversion question

I’ve searched and watched videos. I have the vacuum block with the fitting for the hose to the booster. If I drill the stock pedal, all I need is a 9” (?) dual brake booster and master cylinder from a G body and a section of hose - correct? I ask because the kits I see cost a bunch more than...

    draining the fuel tank

Remove cap and Schrader valve from fuel rail. Attach a section of hose to the rail where the cap was. Put the other end of the hose into a gas can. Disconnect the wire going to the light under the hood. Connect it to the black wire azgn mentioned. Don’t jam it in there any further than it takes...

    Smoke leak detector - where?

Going to check for vacuum leaks with a smoke detector. Will check at the MAF pipe for one place. For another, I’m thinking of using the extra port I have on the vacuum block for vacuum brakes. Would that work? Any other suggestions for other places to check? Thanks

    Starting when warmed up paranoia

I think it was as I described in the post subject matter - paranoia. Probable cause is operator error by not waiting for FP to prime long enough. The long parade drive at slow speed might also have contributed to the long start. Many thanks for all the replies. You gave me several things to...

    Starting when warmed up paranoia

It’s new. Less that 200 miles on it. Hotwired. New filter & FP relay. Many thanks. I’m copying and saving the attachment. The FP relay is brand new, but I’ll try the check you suggested. This car always seems to crank longer than I'd like, but I’m running out of parts and adjustments to make...

    Starting when warmed up paranoia

I’ll put the CR43TS plugs in when I feel like fighting #6 again. Gap at .035, correct? And I’ll give it a few tries at re-priming if it happens again - which I hope it doesn’t. Amazing how many thoughts fly around in your head when you’re miles away from home and you don’t think the car will...

    Starting when warmed up paranoia

New module & coil pack. New SP wires. Plugs are AC 42s. No go-fast stuff mods on the car, so maybe go to a hotter plug?

    Starting when warmed up paranoia

Drove the 87 Limited 50 miles and got in a long parade. Temp never went above 175. Parked it for about 20 minutes & then had to crank it a long time before it started. Had plenty of battery. New injectors & wiring harness, FP hot-wired, FP relay, TT chip, LT1 MAF & translator. FP at 43. SM...

FP Relay (before I break something)

Got it. Thanks. Then I couldn’t get it unplugged. The factory really liked that black tar stuff!

FP Relay (before I break something)

I’m making something simple complicated, but how do you remove the relay for replacement? I removed the bracket that holds the 3 relays to the passenger fencer. Pic is the back of the bracket. Looks like the relay should just slide down to remove it, but mine doesn’t budge. Help out the old...

    Fuel Pump Relay?

Replacing the fuel pump relay. Before I start removing more than I have to - how is it attached to the inner fender? My feeble brain can’t figure it out. Thanks.

    Thank you

I’ve asked a ton of questions on this list, and have always received helpful replies. Car is finally put back together & it runs! I’ll be asking more questions in the future, because there are always more questions about these cars - but please know that I appreciate all your help. Thanks.

    Silicone Hose (venting)

Hose came with the maf tube to turbo. I gave up & went back to what I had. After all I’ve done to it (at least it was a lot for me) I just want to see if it will start.
