    Fast XFI _ Failing Fuel Pump or not?

    I like my Aeromotive A1000, and the only time I have any problems is when I am at or below 1/2 tank. I have another tank with a back sump that may help. The car would nose over hard in second and third. I am feeding the pump with -12 line, and -8 to the engine.

    You should have a help/installation/set-up instruction CD. There is a section on setting the timing. (Section 6.2.1.1) A little confusing at first, but it works. I had to read it 3 times before I figured out what they were trying to accomplish.

    My target A/F is 12. I have already dropped the boosted V/E table down quite a bit. The plugs look fine. I was thinking the A/F was rich because the engine was rev-limiting, not the other way around. I'll post my V/E table in a few mins.

    Same Aeromotive A1000 pump and boost referenced regulator. Duty cycle when breaking up was 85% to 100%. A/F ratio was in the low to mid 8's for the whole rev limited period...(about 2 seconds).
