Need to replace AC compressor and alternator. Lots of choices for both. I'm looking for parts that are as close to stock as possible. Nothing fancy. No chrome. Any recommendations out there? Anything to stay away from? Any lessons learned so I don't make same mistake?

Good call!! Thanks guys. Didn't see it at first, but clutch had failed bearing. Just did the swap, and added new water pump for good measure. Running normal again. HP is back!

85 GN. Fan runs high as soon as I start engine. Stays running high whenever I'm on the throttle, and won't drop back down until she's cruising at a constant speed. Sounds cool when you step on the gas, but it's sucking horsepower and I know it ain't right. Any ideas?

I replaced EGR valve. AC Delco discontinued. Used Borg-Warner replacement. Cross-referenced confirmed orifice washer is #9. New EGR came with about 20 washers, but NONE were #9. Does anyone know what # is closest to #9? Or does anyone have dimensions for #9 washer?
