    I used wd40 and the fine steel wool. Made it look like the stainless steel refridgerators for a little while.

    Help,, Fan problems

    Best thing to do would be to get a thermal switch that installs into the coolant passage that will act as the control side on a relay for the fan. here is a pretty simple wiring diagram that i found that illustrates what I am talking about.

    Check to see if the cat is clogged. I bet you are having wayy too much backpressure because of a clogged cat. Welcome to the site btw.

    Motor Tapping

    The ticking is because your lifters are not getting pumped up with oil causing the valve lash to be excessive. I know on the big blocks the lifters get their oil from the front cam bearing, this same thing can happen on a big block if that bearing is toast. Not sure if it is the same on the V6...

    Well I am sure that some others will chime in with more info, but I was shattering the front pump in all the 2004r transmissions that I tried. I just went to a 400.
