    The springs have different rates between left and right to allow the car to launch strait with even traction on both sides. I bought them to copy the setup of a car that was pulling 1.4 sixty foot times. I dont remember why I did not use them.

    I love everything about those cars but one problem, too heavy. Same thing with the new Camaro and Challenger. Whats the point of 500hp, 4000# and low profile stiff sidewall tires ? Don't get me wrong, I love the Mustang styling and motor I am just frustrated by Detroits inability to get it right.

    How fast can you comfortable go with stock crank, rods, and mains?

    Properly tuned a stock shortblock will be fine to low 11's high tens(525-550hp), faster then that it become a question of time before things go south, I probably had 40-50 600hp passes on my shortblock before the rods let loose.
