the only downside to direct light is that it is harsh and can change the color of the car or at least wash it out. If you shoot the car at say 2 hours before dusk there should be plenty of light to shoot at say 250 or 300. But of course if you got the Bikini in there.....who really cares:)

Tin Man.....you bring up a point I had not really thought about....If I do the Alky and crank the boost and crank the boost will my 36's be able to keep up? (orderd the power plate a few minutes ago from Mike Licht)

trying to keep around $400.00....The SMC Kit alone is about $400.00 and I just dont feel comfortable doing the DIY kit. I can get a 3" downpipe on sale for around $300.00 and power plate for around $60.00...

I have narowed my next mod down to these 2 options.Alky kit or a Power Plate and a Downpipe. The runs strong at 15-16psi with 0 KR on Turbolinkwith 93 in the tank but I need more :) The car so far just has the basic bolt ons....Exhaust , 36lbs INJ with Caspers 93 chip, 307 pump and hotwire...

Look at the car before you take your picture. Do you see any bright spots.....sun spots? If you do move a few feet left or right until they disapear. Dont be afraid to use strange angles.Lay on the ground and do a front 3/4 .......rules are there to be broken. I am a profesional car photographer...

what about the Cardon remaufactored unit.....529702? Advanced auto shows it as $172.00 with bulb...motor.......looks like everything but the switch and includes lifetime warranty? Has anyone used one of these?

I purchased Cotton's single shot. Great out of the box fit. Very nice quality for $300.00ish...but.....It is LOUD in the car at highway speeds. So much so that it has taken some enjoyment from the car.

Is there anyway to bench test a LT-1 Maf? How about plugged in.......does anyone one know what type of voltage readings I am looking for? Thanks

i Wanted to see if you were paying attention :) Actually I corrected my sig. I got the chip from Jack but it is a caspers. I tried the #3 dip switch in both positions with no differance. I am thinking I just have a bad translator.........

http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/bodygauges/bgauge2.html Try that link for help on the boost gauge. My car pulls about 18in vacum at idle. You will not see any vacum at the turbo port where you are currently hooked into. Just follow the instructions on that link and you will be good to go.

in my opinion no. You can set audible alerts to sound at what ever Retard level or levels you select. I use a casette adapter plugged into my laptop and it works great.
