I went with a 12 bolt in my camaro and my best friend went with a 9" in his 72 Cutlass. We came to the conclusion that mine was lighter and required less power to turn but his was stronger. It;s all a trade off.

Ok, Thanks to Brian @ Gbodyparts I was able to get the correct Y. After installing it I had to drop the boost by lengthening the rod on the wastegate, my Manual boost controller would'nt get it to drop back to 15-16 area. It does take some time to get used to the new chip but it's usually about 10 minutes or so. Do a search on this site, I found a bunch of info over that when I changed chips but I can't remember the details. If i remember correctly there is process that gets the computer to "learn" faster

I need the little plastic Y that ties in the boost solenoid to the vacuum line that runs to the turbo. It has a restrictor in it and I can't seem to find it anywhere without buying the vacuum lines. If you got an extra one lying around help me out please. Paul

I can't find the Y anywhere, does anyone have one they want to get rid of? I called Kirbans and they sell the whole boost line kit not just the Y.

Cool 84 I think you nailed it. There is a regular brass t with no restrictor on there. Let me run this by you to make sure I'm not mistaken but it's the only T i see in there. the hose coming from the actuator goes directly to the manual boost controller(black valve basically) on the other...

I've never noticed any restrictor T, I've have to look for it to see if it's there. I guess if it's there then I'm screwed, I may have to get rid of the turbo for a smaller one, cause I can not live with no bottem end. Do electronic boost controllers do anything to help the spool up issue. I...

Thanks for the quick reply. The car has absolutley no exhaust leaks, but i have not checked the wastegate puck or vacuum tee. Could you tell me how to check those? It also hase a manual boost controller, is there a wrong way of hooking these up? Thanks again Paul
