Does anyone have input on these "bolt in" 9" rears or the "bolt in" 12 bolt? I know the 9 is a little heavier but it will allow you to run a Detroit Locker instead of a spool. Nice brake options on the 9". SVO disc brake set up from Ford for $300.

By the time you get your stock rear ready for Stage II power you are close to the price of a bolt in rear. (welded axles tube, brace, spool, studs, caps, cover, new R&P, seal bearing kit, weld on Ford ends, good brake set up)

I went with a 12 bolt in my camaro and my best friend went with a 9" in his 72 Cutlass. We came to the conclusion that mine was lighter and required less power to turn but his was stronger. It;s all a trade off.

I concur with GnTooFast4u

The 12 bolt is lighter, but the 9" is marginally stronger. If it were me, I'd go 12 bolt.
