Adding my 2 cents Hi, I repainted my 83 Grille, was flaking chrome. Used scotch-brite, and some inexpensive primer/satin black spray paint. I was satisified with the results. It doesn't look cheap and the color matches my 83 T-type's grille which is an original Best wishes! Graham
