    I should have mentioned the two lines coming from the rear of the carb manifold are -08AN lines to 1/2" NPT. A couple Kinslers just have -04an bleed lines from the rear. Then there is this NASCAR with plumbing to the side of the block, one side only.

    Old Stage 2 NASCAR front cover seal. Sometimes they use screws to hold them in. 29990-0480 and 25523327 numbers on seal.

    Thanks. Looks like I will go with the MSD 8870 base and available coils. It's not a huge deal but will be a little less wiring and will work with a Dominator ECU without extra drivers. It there a preferred cam sync cap?

    I'm back on the conversion from carb to injection for the NASCAR stage engine in our IMSA car. Thinking about doing a three coil waste spark system not an individual coil per cylinder. Holley stopped making their 556-104 with the plug in on it. MSD makes a base 8870 that the twin tower coils...

    Dropped the oil pan to start to diagnose and source of knock. Help and advice needed…

    How do pieces that big stuck in the crankshaft? Through an oil pickup screen, then the oil pump and through an oil filter. Maybe filter plugged and in bypass?
