Ok,I can’t find a 20. I bought a 21mm.
This rack of Mac sockets is intentionally missing 20mm and 23mm for whatever reason. It goes from 10mm to 24mm.
Thanks everyone for your help.
I’ve got every 13/16 imaginable from a crows foot to each socket.
I have a 19 and 22 in that set but there is one slot between the two. It’s not labeled.
So I bought a rusty set of Mac deep metric impact sockets. They are in an original upright tray thingy. I cleaned them all up but I’m missing one. There’s a 19mm then an empty space then 22mm.
Should I put a 20 or 21 in the missing spot?

Does the pan have to be dropped in order to unhook the TV cable from inside?
I’ve had some GM cars where you just pull it up with needle nose and unhook it.
Thx
I’ve had my GN for about 15 yrs. It was vac brake swapped with all new parts before I got it. Now the master is leaking from the rear seal.
Which master cylinder does this look like? Is it one from an 87 Monte? Thx.
No wife and kids here. 👍 …and a paid mortgage and 850 FiCO and this black boxy thing which has been trying its best to bury me for the last 15 yrs. I’ve learned not to just drop it off somewhere putting full trust in someone to do the right thing.
The first thing they’ll do is try to blow...
You might want to keep the Impala.
These cars are money pits. Somewhat of an addiction. However… As II have seen posted here many times these cars are the mixture of an excellent drivetrain topped with shitty 80’s GM build quality.
Anyone can work on a 60’s Impala.. Not anyone can work...
The problem is it always turns into a testosterone fueled shit show. …and those who I know in person here wonder why I disappear for years at a time.

Thx for the reply. I rebuilt a 440T4 about 20yrs ago. FWD. It wasn’t right on the first shot. I had the servo pins switched.
I’m not going any further than dropping the pan and finding out why the TV plunger is sticking when hot. When cold the trans is ok. When hot it has 100psi too...
I wouldn’t take the VB down. I will drop the governor, tho. …and I’ll bet the TV plunger popped back out when the transmission cooled off. You mentioned a valve a few days ago…. I have to go back and look.
Gonna check everything I can with the pan dropped. If it still is...
