I want to remove the electric antenna and install a fixed antenna. I want to replace the cable and electrical wiring. Any suggestions?

Does anybdy have instructions on removing the reith from fender? Do I have to remove the hood? During this process, I plan to remove my electric antenna with a non electric antenna.

Need a header panel for my 87 GN. I noticed panels for sale at Autobody Specialities, Kirban, GBodyParts, Danko Reproductions and ss396.com. Are any of these panels worth purchasing? I will be at the GS Nationals in Bowling Green.
