AC Delco water pumps
I bought the aluminum one. When I got it home I noticed right on the box: Made in USA with components from China, Slovakia, and USA. Chuck Yeager told me to keep my GM car all GM with AC Delco parts...WTF happened?- Jimmy87T

I found out AC Delco makes cast iron like OEM and aluminum. 251-639 is cast iron 252-582 is aluminum- Jimmy87T

AC Delco water pumps
Ready for a new water pump. My car is 99% stock with 118K. I've found 2 numbers for AC Delco water pumps on Rockauto: 251-639 (OEM design, $120) and 252-582 (<$30). What (other than the price) is the difference between the 2 and has anybody used the new $30 Delco water pump?- Jimmy87T
