  • Jim - that would be great. The cars guys I breakfast with on Mondays say it is a connecting rod so i will be looking for a confirmation and estimate for repair soon. Another ear never hurts.

    My cell is 613-371-1822, I live in the west end Britannia area.

    Not sure about a connecting rod, but anything is possible. I would think you would have little to no oil pressure if that was the case. I did replace my flex plate a couple of years ago, odd sound, I felt it was the motor too.

    Will try and give you a shout this evening.

    Hi bro. I was reading where you put a restrictor on your turbo. can you give me more info like where you got the restritor from and how you installed it? I think im having the same issue. thank you

    Hey mqn, I used vibrant part 10287. It's basically the fitting where the oil feed line installs on thenturbo. The fitting comes with 2 jets a .030 and a .045, I'm used both just to see, I left the .030 in as thenturbo seemed happy. Very easy install. Google vibrant 10287 and you'll see what it looks like.
