Anyone use the complete UMI rotojoint rear end control arm set?

The car will see a lot more road miles than track runs. We drive it every chance we get. My daughter rides in the back and is very comfortable. Just cant do the roll bar. High 11s to me is plenty fast for a bone stock looking almost 40 year old car. I will build another car if I want to...

Anyone use the complete UMI rotojoint rear end control arm set?

I have a draggy, just haven't found a good area next to me to try it. I have been tuning on the freeway on ramps. There is a long on ramp near me with a little incline so it builds boost and I can record and monitor everything with powerlogger.

Thanks for the pictures!. I would like to go faster but 11.49 require roll bar? I have a low mileage car that i mostly cruise but I want to have a little fun with it too.

Anyone use the complete UMI rotojoint rear end control arm set?

Thanks! Cost is not the problem for some stuff but I just dont want to add unnecessary parts. I wont be drag racing every weekend. Maybe 5 times a year. High 11s are my goal just because I never want to add a roll bar. The car is mostly street driven. If I dont have to deal with creaky...

Anyone use the complete UMI rotojoint rear end control arm set?

Thanks for the quick reponse! Is that setup not very good for drag racing? I come from European cars so I never expect this car to turn at all so I just want a straight line cruiser. Do you have any suggestions?

This set: https://www.umiperformance.com/gbr024-1978-1988-gm-g-body-rear-suspension-kit-pro-touring/ I mainly cruise the car but will occasionally take it to the drag strip. Drag radial. Goal is high 11s consistently. I have used regular urethane on other vehicles and they would actually...

    Chevy Volt PWM fan conversion

Nice!!!! Cant wait to hear your results. I store my car 170 miles away from me that's cooler so I will get back on the project when I bring the car back home. Its 105 where I am today. The car is enjoying a garage that's about 63 degrees. Im jealous of the car right now 🤣

    Chevy Volt PWM fan conversion

I have all the parts and even upgraded the alternator to 200 amps, added a postive post, but no time to actually fit the fan yet. I also got a chevy volt harness from a dismantler for $35. I want to make it look as oem as possible, so it won't be a rush job. I will update as soon as I get...

    Transmission Builder in California

Hi Guys, I have an 87 GN with 30k miles on it. Transmission works fine but plan on doing more mods to the engine and putting drag radials on it at the track. My goals are full weight 11.70s because I never want to put a cage in it. I would like to keep as decent of a shift as possible as I...

Oil in coolant. Lean rougg idle

I meant intake manifold gasket blown, not intake manifold.

Oil in coolant. Lean rougg idle

I will do that next. Thanks! Could it also cause the coolant to over flow after a high boost pull without overheating?
