    Who has gauges under the steering wheel?

    I have two gauges in the console under the radio. They weren't difficult at all to install there, and they're located in a spot where you can quickly glance at them. I wouldn't want any important gauges mounted somewhere that I'd have to go out of my way to look at them.

    It was 0.008. I actually pulled the pan to replace the seeping gasket, so I got to really inspect everything. Was spotless internally. Got everything back together and everything seems good. No strange noises, and no leaks.

    That's a strong possibility. The crack was forming around the crank bolts.

    Who knows? I didn't install the converter that broke. When taking the trans down, everything looked normal. I did notice a slight crack developing in the flexplate, but nothing serious enough to cause that kinda damage. I guess we'll see. I just wrapped up installing the trans with a new...

    So, I finally decided to pull the trans after getting sick of looking at the car on the lift, looking all depressed. Found out want the clicking was. Good stuff!

    That's what I was hoping for, but nope, they were on so tight I needed a 3ft breaker bar to loosen em up. I guess I'll pull the trans tomorrow and see what's up.
