Yes, I would be interested in your Strange Driveshaft. Do have any photos of it? Do you have the matching 1350 series transmission & rear end yoke? What's the reason why you removed it from your car?
@horndog - I purchased the Injectors and first set of chips from Precision Turbo. Later I had a buddy burn me the next set of chips. I actually have another chip from Richard Clarks Garage which was made about 3 months ago that was used with these injectors. I do not have that chip illustrated...
Are you running with aftermarket 1350 u-joints? Is your car running in the 10's? How many pounds of boost do you launch with? I'd be interested in this driveshaft but I'm a little concerned about the quality of the u-joints and yoke ends. The driveshaft may support 1000 horses but I'm not too...
@pacecarta - I want to thank you for the advice on how to modify the bumper in order to achieve a better fit. I plan on following your guidance and hope to get a better appearance. Based on what you described I'm confident it will certainly help if not solve the issue. I had a look at the link...
The stock drive shaft certainly isn't going to take hard launches which is the reason I'm seeking to upgrade. I'm leaning more into investing towards a Denny's drive shaft to be on the safe side. - Do it right the first time.
I'm happy to see there was some real good feedback on this subject.
@pacecarta - If this is an old subject I'm shocked as to how Kirbans addressed me by saying it was the first they've heard of the issue. (Please see the attached email below). I truly appreciate your feedback and will attempt...
I've heard that before and have been leaning towards going with one of their driveshafts but damn if they aren't expensive. I was thinking about trying out a dynotech 3.5" aluminum and see how it does will 3 lbs launches from the 2 step. But I fear the joints won't handle it.
Hopefully somebody has a suggestion for this issue. Here goes -
I purchased fiberglass bumpers for my 86 GN a couple years ago just to lighten the car and personally I think they look better than the stock bumpers. I purchased them from Kirbans. The back bumper looks excellent. However, the...
009 Injectors (42 lbs). Perfect condition. Just removed from my GN at RCG’s for bigger setup. These injectors have less than 300 miles on them and are guaranteed to be working perfectly. They come with 2 sets of chips tuned for 93 and 110 octane. $150
