I haven't tried to remove them as of yet. Wife has been keeping me busy painting the house. Always something.
That's great advise with the studs. I'll look around for them.
Wow , i figured somebody would have checked the temperature over the years. I guess I'm going to Harbor freight to buy an inferred thermometer. I'll check back.
Quick question Gentlemen. How hot does it get at the flange where the downpipe meets the turbo. I have a small leak at the bottom. I see exhaust soot on my passenger header. I was thinking High temp R.T.V. Between the Flange and the turbo.
Its an R.J.C Downpipe.
Quick question guys. I Have a V.O.D boost gauge that has a plastic hose that is stuffed into a rubber hose for its readings. It works fine although its ugly and incorrect. I preformed a vacuum test with a smoke machine and it is not leaking. I would like to hook it up properly. Any suggestions...
That's a great find. Very lucky. I forgot the brand that I installed like ten years ago. Its still running perfect except the whole vacuum leak thing. Its a shame that we have to buy multiple versions of the same part just to find a good one. I've own my car for twenty years and I never seen it...
Thanks John. I have a Walker saved on my Bookmarks list. I saw that brand on eBay too. Price is right compared to a lot of venders. Thanks for the info.
I was teaching him how to do the procedure. Its always good to teach the next generation. Then he said "dad..... Should smoke be coming out of here"? He was pointing at the I.A.C... He is a good boy with good eyes.
Hello gentleman. I preformed a vacuum test with a smoke machine on my GN. You know, just to check my vacuum lines. I noticed smoke coming out of the electrical connection of my Idle Air Control Valve . Strange right but true. Anybody recommend a good I.A.C Valve and who sells it?
