    All All good info. Front end completely rebuilt. Downpipe not touching frame. I checked that( some people say that worn motors mounts would cause impact of downpipe. I changed the motor mounts to solid Hardparts and stuff style about three years ago. Love them. Did the tensioner not long ago...

    Well, repair is done. Cleaned both mating surfaces with a plastic razor blade and acetone. Used the highest heat Permatex gasket sealer they sell. I'm sure its not a forever fix and if it starts to leak exhaust on the header again I'll try a gasket. Took it for a long ride and all is perfect...

    I haven't tried to remove them as of yet. Wife has been keeping me busy painting the house. Always something. That's great advise with the studs. I'll look around for them.
