    trans-brake in park and reverse

That angled place to the left of your magnet would make a great home for a drain plug. I used a Chevy small block plug and a 1/2" N.F. nut which I spot welded inside my pan. No welder? Maybe your local muffler guy would weld it for a few dollars.

    2004R tv setup issue

How far does the pin for the TV cable (on the throttle body) move from idle to full throttle position? It should be about 1-1/8" as on the LG4's Quadrajet. From your text it seems like the travel on the TBI is a lot less.

First time rebuilder questions on 2004r

Were you able to assemble and set the end play of the output shaft assembly while it was on your bench? Are you using a NEW hardened sun gear shell? Are there any signs of wear on the sun gear splines or snap ring or groove which would make the fit seem loose?

    uh-oh

Pressure check cooler in radiator if you are using it. It doesn't take much water to steam the lining from clutch plates. Pressure washing engine and trans at a carwash could also introduce water into the transmission. You can use Plastigage to check rotor and slide clearances, but ALL traces...

    Hardline repair

I have had good luck with 5/16" brake lines and double flare tubing couplers. They cost a little more, but not everyone can master the art of double flaring steel tubing.:(

    TCC Solenoid - 4 wire vs. 3 ?????

Did you check the operation of the solenoid? When 12v. is applied, the solenoid should block the flow of fluid (or air) through it. When no voltage is present, the fluid (or air) should be released.

BOP adapter plate?..th350 and th400 same bolt pattern???

Help Needed With Tranny Dip Stick???

I think your dipstick and tube are mismatched. Most dipsticks extend about 3/4" past the end of the tube when seated, but you would have to remove the pan to check that. :frown: How long is your dipstick from the tip to the seat of the cap? How far from the end of the tube to the seat of...

what are 200r4 correct hydraulic pressures?

Why the comment about 115psi being too high? Is it starting in second gear? Your numbers look like you are not pulling the TV cable as Chris718 instructed, or boost system is not working.

    6CZF Buildup Questions v 1.0

Pump parts GM has several thicknesses of pump parts which makes clearancing the pump possible. With those aftermarket pump sets, the thickness is whatever they happen to be. I'm sure that you're more than qualified to rebuild the 200-4r, but if you need any advice send me an e-mail. Have you...
