Yes I understand how gearing appliesto using available torque so I think were having a misunderstanding. I get where you are going however what my main point was is that you cannot "create" more torque out of a motor without changing the motor output itself. The only thing that changing the final drive will do is lessen the loos of power from the engine to the wheels. So yes you can raise your...- orodi
