No power antenna on my car. It does pick up stations fine, and sometimes fairly clear, but most of the time there is just enough static to get on my nerves. I'll try replacing the antenna.

I have a new head unit (Alpine 9856) with new speakers up front and in the back. Now, my radio is real fuzzy. CD's are nice and clear, so that eliminates speaker wiring. Do I just need to stick on a new antenna? If so, should I go with a shorter, rubber one, or one that looks identical...

Thanks guys. I really wasn't sure. All of the GN's around here are going for $10 000 and up. Thought this was my chance. Honestly, I think I'd rather have a Turbo Regal, rather than a GN - as crazy as that sounds. I love GN's, but there's something about the T-types that win me over slightly.

Well guys, I just came across an '84 GN with leather seats! The guy wants $3500. The engine turns over but will not start, and I can see some rust on the rear wheel wells from the pictures. It has t-tops as well, and apparently was kept in a garage - but the rust is making me think different...
