    Carnage from GS Nationals !!

Someone needs to make cast iron improved 109 blocks. People would buy them if they could be priced right. The TAs are just too expensive.

    How does social security work?

My friend works for MA and he does not contribute to SS. He contributes to MA retirement. SS takes your 10 highest earning years and uses the average to calculate the amount. You will have in theory a lower average since you most likely will be making the most money in the next years and they...

    4.1L block values?

Those blocks were prone to cracking at the head bolt holes. Generally does not have the draw a 109 block would.

Any fix for turbolink 4.0 and windows 10

Think your beating a dead horse. I tried the Turbolink years ago but had all kinds of issues with the cable creating rf interference, even the shielded one. The ecu would flake out. Think you time would better spent getting a Powerlogger and be done with it. Plus you can monitor a wide band O2...

Where to buy a new Ta-49?

Before you do anything else, you need to a full spring cleaning. If it's been sitting then I can guarantee there are issues that a simple turbo swap will not fix. Any of the new small bb turbos will outperform a 49.

    Rear end recommendations

stock 3.42. Eaton regular posi lock is very good 28 spline. Trutrac if you are going for higher hp. Regardless go with aftermarket axles. I prefer Strange.

    Racetronix fuel pressure regulator leaking

I gave up on my Accufab years ago. There was a post years ago that showed how poor the machining was on them. Raising FP on stock regulator & Accufab junk

    Racetronix fuel pressure regulator leaking

It comes with 2 sized spacers. The thinner spacers are for the stock rail. They go between the rail mount and the regulator. The long spacers are for aftermarket rails. It's a very nice piece. It was easy to set the pressure. The old Kirbans one kept increasing the idle pressure. I had it set to...

    Racetronix fuel pressure regulator leaking

I had to go fishing for those damn spacers a couple of times which just added to my frustration. Aluminum so no magnet retrieval.

    Racetronix fuel pressure regulator leaking

Ok, resolved. I undid the return line and attached the regulator to the rail on it's own. I held it flat againt the inside mating surface and tightened it. The return line is braided ss teflon and it must have been cocking the regulator just enough not to seal well.

    Racetronix fuel pressure regulator leaking

The spacers I have are aluminum. The only reason I think the spacers need to be thinner is the first time I tightened the screws to what I do the regular 10mm bolts and it leaked bad. When I redid it, I really tightened it and now there is a small trickle. I'll have to remove it again and see if...

    Racetronix fuel pressure regulator leaking

I installed a new Racetronix fuel pressure regulator using the thin spacers on the stock fuel rail. It's leaking at the rail. I got it tightened strongly and it's still leaking some. I double checked the o ring to make sure I didn't pinch it or if it had a defect but it looks fine. I replaced it...

hood struts - suggestions on which to get?

I tried those and found them too strong. I didn't like the feeling it might bend the hood. I went with Highway Star's correct ones and they are perfect albeit more expensive.
