    it may not be 100 pounds, as I am not sure as to how much less an aluminum drum weights that a cast one, i was just reffering to a pervious post

    I believe its considered a 10:1 ratio, 1 pound rotating = 10 pounds static, so if they weight 5 pounds less a piece then thats like removing 100 pounds of static weight from your car

    Torch Put the control arm in a vice and heat up the bushing until it melts a little and you can push it out. Then use and air chisle and pop out the metal part

    I can't get any mph out of my car!

    I have a very similar problem. with a small block, th350 and 3.42's i've gone as fast13.34 and 13.40's all day at 104mph. That was with a 2400 stall. I put in a 3000 and now i cant trap over 100mph. I am pretty sure I overstalled the car, I was thinking of going to 3.73's since i cross the line...

    gears I would say 3.23's... I am running th-350 with 3.42's and its about 2,600 at 60mph, depends on tire size also
