The converter is a Vig 3200 5 disk and won't lock up (200r4). Is there a certain line pressure needed for a 5 disk over a single disk? Anyone had this issue?

Boost,
Sounds like external is more precise. Which downpipe and BOV did you get? A three inch DP? The current engine is a stock replacement so I can build up/stroke the original blown up engine, just don't want to have to buy a better one later.
After 8 months of work on the car, I'm getting ready to fire up the GN. I need a down pipe but with all the different choices any advice would be helpful. The motor is stock with a TA49 with 60lb. injectors/TT Chip.
3' or 3 1/2? External BOV?
Thanks for all the info. The engine will be going into the 87 Grand National that I bought in April off of Racingjunk. The GN came with the original engine with every piston melted, no torque converter and a beat up trans. Car was drag raced some where in Mich. many years ago and has very little...
Thanks for the help.... I will look for the injector numbers, the turbo is not stock...(stock is puny compared side by side with inlet bell) Not sure about the chip, it doesn't have anything on the back and it's in a Reman ECM.
Bought a engine/trans off of CL a couple months ago. The engine ran fine but the guy had no clue about the engine. He told me it had Kenny Bell internals but after some cleaning/checking its a stock engine with Kenny Bell valve covers. The Turbo is bigger than stock, the injectors are not stock...
Are these adjustable chips any good? Can they be modified for bigger injectors?(Alky) In the course of restoring my car, I'm getting close to putting the engine in it and noticed that the car had a ecm with the caspers chip. The adjusting with the turn of the wheel sounds better than pulling a...
