sorry took a few days to get back to the net...ive posted it here for a long time just havent had the time nor the cash to work on it...basicly it starts up VERY weak sounding but will hold idle..then it hits 170 on the h20 temp and dies...it did it before but it wasnt any sort consistant temp...
any shops or good buick mechanics in the jacksonville/op area having issues beyond my skill level and need a good shop or mechanic who wont rack me up a huge bill and not fix the problem.any ideas thanks

what the coolant temp at when it dies....im having issue with mine..sounds like crap when it fires...warms up sounds pretty good and idles well...once it hits 180 degrees on the scanner poof stalls...

i have a very old school "otc monotor 2000" the plugs into the......thingie alcs i think its called...its showing around 180 degree its begins to stalll....iac increases with the rpm drop....tps seems fine....i did a naughty thing when i replaced coolant temp sensor...i went to napa...so i may...
