    Ok, I get that. It was what I did just to find the problems I was dealing with at the time and it worked for me. I did close the blade up after I figured out I had vacuum leaks.

    Right, I just said that to keep it runnning so it doesn't stall and maybe keeps a bit more vacuum.

    I've seen other people run a mechanical vacuum pump. That does work.

    Try resetting the ECM. Maybe open the throttle blade a tiny bit.

    The ECM will need a bit of drive time to learn as well.

    You have to be cautious with high output alternators because of the V-belts. there is a lot of slippage. 170amps is as high as I would go unless you are going to convert to a sepentine or ribbed belt. I'm looking at the Mechman 170amp 10si for my car.
