When my dad bought the car he was told it was running a TA-49. Recently he had some work done. The same mechanic that sold him the car said it was a stock turbo. At any rate, the turbo needs to be rebuilt what options does he have? Thanks

Great, thanks everyone. My search now begins for an up pipe. I'm not sure if I'm going to go with an OEM piece or aftermarket. We'll have to see what I can find. Thanks Again.

On our 85 GN we noticed that the braided pipe that runs from the header to the turbo emitted some smoke. Does anyone know if that can be welded since it is braided? I assume it's suppose to have some flex in it. Or is there a source for an aftermarket or orginal replacement? Thanks

Thanks for the replies. When we put a fuel gauge on the front rail the pressure showed 100 PSI. We thought the gauge was broken, so we returned it for another. This one also shot up to 100 PSI. We replaced the fuel regulator and continued to have the same readings. We spoked to a mechanic and...
