Although it's been a while since I last posted in this thread, I just want let you guys know that I went with a PTC 9.5 speced by Dusty. The converter is waiting to be installed in front of a Stage 2 by Lonnie, which is currently being built. With studies, and 2 jobs taking up most of my time...- Sinistr6

Some updates: Have spoken to Lonnie, and he has no problem with building me a Stage 2. He could also have the tranny installed in his car and tested, before shipping. I've done a lot of thinking, and I think this is the way to go, despite the distance. It will save me some money compared to...- Sinistr6

So, by changing to a non lock and a good external cooler, my tranny will handle the engine upgrades? With only 30.000 miles on it, I would guess so (at least for a while), but who knows what upgrades it will get in the future.
