Art sold Art Carr Performance Products in the late 1990's to a company called Automotive Global Technologies and was moved to Reno, NV. In 2000 Art Carr Performance Products was sold to Ronnie Hartman Enterprises which was Torco and moved to Abilene, TX.
If the parts came from 'Art Carr Performance Products' that company closed a while back, I think around 01-2011 , so there would be no warranty on any parts.
Art Carr himself owns California Performance Transmissions.

Have you tried to PM Lonnie? I think his name is 'Quickt' on here.

I've asked them about it, and the parts were ordered from CPT and Art Carr himself. Here is the list of parts they got:
- Direct drum
- Forward drum
- OD planet
- Input shaft
- All planetary gears
- Overdrive clutch power pack w/pistons
- 13 vane pump
- Transgo reprogramming kit
- Sonnax super servo
- Red Eagle Power pack clutches
- Billet pistons

They said it was all of his best parts. Also bushings, sealings, and basically everything will be changed if they do the build.

Haven't tried to PM Lonnie yet, but will do.

Some updates:

Have spoken to Lonnie, and he has no problem with building me a Stage 2. He could also have the tranny installed in his car and tested, before shipping.
I've done a lot of thinking, and I think this is the way to go, despite the distance. It will save me some money compared to having it built here in Norway, and it will be done by someone who specializes on the 2004R.

I've also been doing some reading on the forums, and I think a Non Lock will suit my car just fine. Although a street car, It won't be a daily driver, so fuel economy isn't an issue. And the top speed limit in Norway is 62 mph:confused: Will the PTC 9.5 be too overkill for my setup, or can it be built to work on the street with the 5857? If it's possible, I would rather go with the 9.5" than the 10" which I understand will have more slippage. It's also not unthinkable that the car will see a bigger turbo and a few other upgrades in the future.

you wont have any issues running a NL on your car. We run one on our 16K mile gn.

Although it's been a while since I last posted in this thread, I just want let you guys know that I went with a PTC 9.5 speced by Dusty. The converter is waiting to be installed in front of a Stage 2 by Lonnie, which is currently being built. With studies, and 2 jobs taking up most of my time, and the fact that winter is coming up here in Norway, I'm not sure when the car will be back on the road. But when it is, I will keep you updated.
