CONGRATS TO JULIO (RAZOR) He's in "GM HIGH-TECH/PERFORMANCE" magazine......

Well deserved exposure... the alky kit is by far the best mod I have ever made to my buick bar none. 25 psi with zero knock is a fantastic achievement. Julio has done his homework and the magazine recognition is certainly in order. TBF

    Another thumbs up for Razor!!!!!

I finished the install of Julio's ALKY kit and it is awesome!!!! I am only running 20 psi right now and I can't hook my 87 GN in first or second gear with my street tires. The alky chip from turbotweak works perfectly and the car now runs as smooth as it did when new. (I am the original owner)...

After car heats up, it runs bad and stalls??

That is what really puzzles me..... I bought a new belt tensioner and will put that on today and see what happens. Trboboy has exactly the same problem I have... The rough running and whine only happen together and usually for a short time...... I wonder if the tensioner is possibly seizing...

After car heats up, it runs bad and stalls??

Thanks... the ticking is definately a mechanical tick and I bought a new tensioner pulley to see if that helps...... I pulled the cam sensor and it has quite a bit of up and down play and I am wondering if this may be causing the noise..... I also went to the junky and got 1 ignition module...

After car heats up, it runs bad and stalls??

Thanks ATL... I don't want to sound to stupid but where is the ignition module??? Is it the coil pack on the pack of the engine that the plug wires go into????? I will do a search and try and figure it out for myself.......... When I start to hear the noise I try and pull over to see...

After car heats up, it runs bad and stalls??

After running on the highway for about 30 minutes, my 87 GN will start to make a funky whiney noise from the engine. It will get progressively louder for about 10 seconds then the car starts to run rough, buck, like it is running out of fuel. It will backfire and it has actually stalled. After...

    Running rich.. slow spool...

I noticed 890 on my scanmaster and it seems that 770-800 is a good value for 93 octane. My car is an 87 GN TE-44, 40lb inj, RA chip 93, 3" DP, no cat, no header leaks(welded), I have set 42psi on the adj fpr hose off, and I have no malfunction codes. Anybody ever seen this before and can shed...
