Safe air/fuel ratio at WOT on the dyno?

I gather that he means anything leaner than about 11.5 to 11.8 -1 is just too lean on the dyno. I did a search here and it looks like an AFR of about 11.5 -1 is just about right on the rollers as long as it's not detonating. Thanks to all that helped me with the info. :) Ron,

Safe air/fuel ratio at WOT on the dyno?

12.0 -1 too lean on the dyno For some reason, I could not post to my original thread ... So, your saying that I don't want to be any leaner than about 11.5 -1 to 11.8 -1 12.0 -1 would then just be a little too lean to be safe in a boosted motor. It's interesting that in a non-boosted...

Safe air/fuel ratio at WOT on the dyno?

I am going to the dyno this weekend ... Just wondering what air/fuel ratio is pretty much safe when running the stock timing, 16 psi boost and pump gas and pretty much a stock motor. I have tuned with about 790 mv on the O2 sensor, but I think a fuel/air ratio measured on the dyno would...

Wiring the boost swing valve (puck) closed >

Not really Turbo Buick related, but I have a question that applies to something that may have been tried by someone here: A friend has a twin turbo LS1 motor. Due to the low placement of the turbo's ( and poor overall design), they are nearly impossible to remove without lots and lots of work...

    Injector Question

Thanks Gary ... The reason Dug posted this is because he was told by a few vendors that his injectors are not avail anymore. He could certainly purchase a complete new set of something else in a high ohm injector, but the ones he has now are almost brand new ... And money is a little tight at...

    Non-Buick Question - Injectors

Hey guys . . . I'm using a buddy's login, he said I should come here and ask you guys this question as you more than likely will be able to help out. I apologize in advance if this is not the proper forum, wasn't sure where to post. I've got a twin-turbo '98 Camaro. I cracked #1 ringland a...
