    That thing belongs in the nearest scrap pile ,,, i just sold a perfectly fine Ta-49 for $400..meaning there are super cheap deals out there to be had. The labor and unsure results will be big with that mess.

    It gets really really frekkin hot there,, Permatex Ultra Red is a good bet,,but, most will suggest something isn't flat,,i've never ran a gasket there.

My braintrust came up with an interesting spherical bushing at that lower bolt/mount for the issue,,looks great and everything seems to work as it should.     Caspers Volt Booster

    I have the Caspers VB ,, its suppose to add 2 volts at 70% throttle. I don't have a Logger of any type. Wanting to know how to test that its actually delivering the 2 volts. I can put my scanmaster on alternator/volt setting and look at it,maybe,during a pull, but was hoping for another type test?
