    I do have a friend with a QMP turbo kit on his LS1 SS camaro and he passed me on the expressway at 70 blowing smoke off his drag radials. His car is wicked though. 700+HP and he's going for 1000ft/lbs. Only car i've seen destroy a spec 5 clutch in a week.

    I had an 87 Monte SS with a built 400 small block in her. I got on the T5 swap train and hated myself for it afterwards. Its great fun on the street in that car but for the track, you cant beat a nicely setup auto. Besides...turbo cars love automatics.

    You really, REALLY need to get your 60ft's down. Thats going to help you out a lot. I ran an 11.1 with a 1.62 60ft at 119.9mph. You just need to hook off the line. Air bags help and some taller tires couldnt hurt at all. I would go with 28's, but thats just me.

    I don't personally use them. I don't like plat. plugs in high boost or any spray conditions. To many nightmare stories of the electrode breaking off or melting.
