    Still having issues with my GN

    I have checked the exhaust headers and have seen that they have been welded up at one time or another, but dont see any new leaks, maybe i should do the gm top clean treatment and see if there are any new leaks?? I can see having to add more fuel to compensate for the exhaust leak.

    To make a long story short i will try and explain everything thats happening, i was having what i believe was an intake backfire going into boost, so i talked to Eric from turbo tweak and he recommended 42lb injectors, i replaced at that time also the injector harness, and hotwired the fuel pump...

    I will try a MAF, i wanna do a translator, i checked out full throttle speed, and im on the fence with the MAFs, and i would need a tube... but heard horror stories of the tubes not fitting right... guess im not sure of what i need... whats the diffremce between the LS1 and the Impala MAF?

    so are you thinking o2 sensor maybe? Fuel pressure to high? I was curious if it wasnt the coil packs causing the backfire under boost... as with the running rough. When driving down the road it sometimes feels like it is cutting out. Then at other times feels as if the transmission cannot make...

    Ok i will check out my maf..... no codes at all.... i unplugged my maf, and the idle didnt change one bit.... when its warmed up, and you shut the car of, and try to restart it, it wont start right back up, last time i tried this, it backfired through the exhaust :confused:

    wow i checked out that thread and that kinda sounds like my problem to... im running warm.... so it wasnt his cam sensor, but the crank sensor...interesting!!! Is there a way to test these parts with an ohm meter? I have had a backfire through my exhaust a few times also... just to add to the mess.

    Im not sure of the oil that they put in it, but im gonna service it real soon.... i may put a quart of lucas in it....so maybe check the cam sensor and see what voltage its at? Looks fun getting to the hold down nut..lol

    here is the new scan... the weird thing is the tps voltage shows .43 with the ingnition on and not running but when its running it goes up to .45.... i adjusted it again with it running back to .42 and a few mins later its back to .45 lol, but here it is...look at the idle... WOW!!!
