That's a wild ride. I've always thought of Weld Wheel as a company with quality products. Guy. Did you buy them new? Wonder if they had any past history of getting bounced off a curb or something before you got them.
They were new when purchased, but the were 10 years old when this happened. still, they had less than 10K miles on them. I have a friend that experienced problems with Weld Wheels before. The squared it up with him, too.

I talked to my attorney (my brother, LOL) and he said it looks as if Weld is going to give me my replacement costs, anyway. Don't want anything more, or less.

Fuckin' lawyer bro will prolly want 30%... I hope he tacks it on their end...

Last day for this contest. I'll try to pick a carnage winner tonight.

Not a submission to the contest but this thread made me think of my late best friend Jim back in the early 90's.. he had a beat to hell brown dodge dart with the slant 6, back then we could buy them for $50.. as hell of a back yard mechanic he kept it barely road worthy but it leaked oil bad, like Exxon Valdez bad we were always digging up spare change to top it off with whatever oil we could get wich sucked cuz as teens it took from our strohs 30 pack fund (we always kept a 6 pack stashed in the swing door dash vents lmao) .. he knew how strong those motors were so wasn't picky as to the oil choice one night we were leaving a house party and he spotted a couple cases of USED motor oil the kids father had out by the garage, my buddy's eyes lit up "hey what are you doing with that used oil !?".. we grabbed it all got us thru the rest of the summer ahh good times miss u Jim Herne
