    1982 T-Type questions

From what I have seen only the 82 GN/SC used the aluminum bumper supports for some reason. I had a 81 SC with steel supports. And I suspect the 81-82 SC with the optional performance package(dual exhaust,3.23 gears) had the aluminum ones as well.

Anyone need a Riviera Turbo Air- Inlet setup ?

I'm still here. Not mad at anybody except maybe the clowns that think they are running this country. I've got plenty of these parts that I cant give away too! The difference between the Riv and Regal parts are that the Riv uses a black accordian hose and gray painted hat that might have the...

    serpentine setup

I dont see why not. You would need everything off of an LC2. And I mean everything. Alternator,PS pump,AC compressor.....etc. I haven't had much luck trying to piece together a system using junkyard parts from a FWD 3800. If somebody out there is making billet serp belt pulleys for the 350/455...

    Grand national with door trim?

OK here's the scoop. The factory installed body side moldings were glued on. Dealer installed are riveted on. You can check your SPID label to see if you have or have had the factory moldings. The all black moldings for the GN,WH1 and WE4 are RPO B88. This option was not available on the GNX...

    ccci fuse popped

I was going to add that I had a misadjusted crank sensor one time and that fuse would pop for no reason. My first HA Riviera, and that car was a mess under the hood. Wire harness had at least 50 butt connectors spliced on it. No kidding. Spent one weekend with my trusty solder iron and wasted a...

Let's play; Where are they now?

I'm still here. Once a month anyway. LOL. Long story. I appreciate that a few of you guys take the time to throw a kind word my way. If it wasn't for this site, and more importantly the members, I wouldn't have any reason to stay in the turbo Buick world. Times are tough but I do believe they...

Anyone ever seen this one of one regal before?

No. J-Car seats will not bolt in. What I believe he should have said, was that you need the plastic switch mount trim from the passenger side Cimarron seat, along with a power seat adjuster from another G-Body model. Plenty of threads somewhere about making a passenger power seat. I should know...

Vacuum brake converts - what did you do about brake line mis-alignment at master cylinder?

You could always buy a set of the correct lines from one of the vendors. Prop valve is mounted in the same position on all G-Bodies. Just buy a set of lines for a vacuum brake equipped G-Body.

    1986 T type with 60/40 thats not a limited

What year? 83 T-Type would have woodgrain on the doors. And yes, any year you could have ordered a split bench. Except on the GN. Sounds fishy. Get a VIN. If it doesn't have the correct digit for a turbo V-6 than run away.

    Swaybar options

I think it all depends on what type of springs you're using. Two types of thinking here. Stiff springs/small bars or soft springs/big bars. Remember the stabilizer bar is an auxillary spring. I used to run the firmest spring and the biggest bar I could find on my 86 GN. 20 years of that...

    My 1986 GN - Built/Modified by ASC-McLaren?

Your guy certainly aint no expert. Every single G-Body that rolled off the Pontiac assembly line has some type of number stamped on that cowl tag as stated by some of the replies. That number is an internal code used by Fisher Body when the "tub" was assembled. I've never been able to fully...

    Help identifying connectors under dash

Jumper wire is the Diode for the factory Anti-Theft. You should have RPO code UA6 on your SPID label.

My new car........at least its Turbo!

Hey Dave. Nimbus says you wouldn't have gotten that ticket if you would have let him drive. Nothing like owning an orphan. There's a good tip from Dan on sourcing the engine parts. I don't think the transaxle/transfer case is the same though. Might be some JDM parts for it. Funny how those...
