    Hypothetical question about running a blow through setup (carbed intake) but retaining cam sensor/coils

    Good info. Now, regarding the blow through, picture a sniper EFI, etc. (Bolted onto the carb intake) instead of a carb. I'm wondering if the ECU with the EFI can work in conjunction with the stock cam sensor....

    This is just for discussion purposes so I don't need the "why" questions. I know of some folks running a blow through setup on the older buicks and running a distributor, etc. The question is, can the ignition be run with the cam sensor and some sort of piggy back or standalone ignition...
