No heat/air under WOT.
You've probobly lost vacuum and default is to blow out the defrost. Most cars have a vacuum reservoir under the hood. (I don't own a buick...yet) You are more than likely using more vacuum than you can produce and maintain at WOT. ie: a leak my .02- vandelay_inc.
